What Is Hypnosis & Meditation?

In our ordinary state of mind, we are involuntarily identified with our thoughts. They are us and we are them. If they are hurtful, we hurt. They can hurt us very badly. As long as we are identified with our thoughts, a significative change is difficult to achieve. It can take years of psychotherapy.

With the help of Hypnosis & Meditation, we first realize that this identification can be loosened and even undone. We can look at our thoughts from without. Their emotional impact dwindles accordingly. We then can abide beyond our ordinary thinking mind. From there we can start reconfiguring our mindset.  

That’s the main goal of Hypnosis & Meditation – to reconfigure our mindset once we abide beyond our thinking mind.

My role as a hypnotherapist and a meditator is experientially to introduce you to this state beyond thought. Then we learn to get back to it at will, thus furthering the therapeutic process.

Whether you feel stuck in life or are struggling with anxiety, unwanted habits, or identity issues, my goal is to provide you with the meditation toolkit you need to let go of what is holding you back.

About Philippe Vallat, PhD

Since 2019, I’ve had my hypnotherapy practice in Geneva helping people around me get better swiftly and overcome problems that seemed unsolvable before. 

 

My therapeutic approach integrates my 20-year background as a professor of philosophy and religion, my training as a hypnotherapist at l’ARCHE in Paris and my lifelong interest in meditation and self-hypnosis.

 

Think of me as a facilitator of your healing and transformation in a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
